Ralph Lauren & Most Versatile Accessory!

Hello beautiful!
Fashion week has been AMAZING! I am absolutely in love with Ralph Lauren's The Great Gatsby inspired line. Here is a pic of the beautiful Daria Strokous on the runway wearing an adorable short suit.

I got to thinking, how could I pull off wearing a tie personally with the wardrobe I already have? Then I realized I could just tie one of my scarves the same way! Well... I played with it a little more and made a double knot scarf tie. It's the second scarf look in the picture below, I dig it! I decided to share it with you lovely ladies as well as a few other scarf tying styles.

Style #1 Rabbit Ears
 Style #2 Double Knot
Style #3 Bow
Style #4 Infinity or Circle
Style #5 Roll & Tuck
Style #6 Euro loop
Style #7 Waterfall

There are SO many different ways you can tie a scarf it's silly. If you like this blog post, leave a comment and I can create a sequel with even more styles to share with you.

Until next time,

Eye Liner - Change It Up!

Hello beautiful!

As I was doing my makeup today, I started thinking... What would be an easy way to change your look that doesn't involve dropping serious cash? Eye liner! When it comes to an every day make up routine, most of us stick to what we know. If you have a great look, why mess with it right? This train of thought is understandable, but trying something new can be a lot of fun! I played around with my eyeliner (liquid, shadow, and kohl) and here is what I came up with:

Whenever I do my liner, it typically looks like the top left picture. After experimenting I have fallen in love with the bottom left look. I feel like it really opens up the eye. It's more of a kitten liner vs. the cat eye look that has been popular this year. Which one is your favorite?

If you haven't already tried, this look is also amazing. Lining just under the eye and bringing it to a point on the outer corner really makes your eye color pop (yes, even brown!)

I LOVE this eyeliner look. It reminds me of how Amy Winehouse wore hers, only cleaned up a bit. I had so much fun with this, and I hope you were inspired to try something new!

Until next time,

Spring Colors for 2012

Hey beautiful!

This is the first official entry for MagneticCharisma, my fashion blog. I am extremely excited about sharing trends, tips, creating looks, and covering celebrity styles for my readers to see. After a very long winter, I am definitely looking forward to some warmer weather. As well all know, March 21st marks the first day of spring for 2012, but that doesn't mean we can't start creating our look early. Spring lines are out and the colors this year are amazing!

These are the Pantone Spring Colors for 2012. Using these, I have created my own look, based off of the cockatoo shade, only slightly darker.
